Ice Breakers

Ice Breakers provide a way for users to start a conversation with a business with a list of frequently asked questions. Your users will see questions related to your business instead of the generic “Get Started” button just like the image below.

Base on your needs, you may either use the “Get Started” button or the Icebreaker feature.

To create an ice breaker for your business, set the frequently asked questions about your business on the Elegant Bots platform.

I have set this earlier with the following FAQ questions from the website images below.  

Let’s go ahead set up the Training Phrases. Head over to Menu > Setup A.I and select “Add Training Phrase”.

Now, you need to fill in the details on the next setup wizard (Similar to the images below). 

In this setup AI wizard, enter your frequently asked question on the “User Expression” field and select the checkbox if your FAQ contains keywords. 

Then, choose the “Flow” option if you already had a chat flow prepared for this training phrase. If you don’t, then fill in the text response to that training phrase in the “Response” field.

You can also choose “+ Add Replies” to give more replies for that training phrase. 

If you had 2 or 3 replies for a single training phrase, then the Messenger chatbot from our Elegant Bots will choose one reply randomly.

If you want to include additional or more training phrases, select the “Add More” option at the start of this setup wizard.

Then don’t forget to save this process.

Navigate to Settings > General > Icebreakers and click the “Edit” button. 

Hit “Save”…

Head over to messenger and you will see something like this…
